Eye Contact is important on establishing bonds and communication without saying any words because it has good psychological effects for those who interpret an eye contact correctly and not wrongly.
Why do most often we commit eye contact to someone or entice to exchange eye contact to someone who ismaking eye contact to us? Of course, there are reasons for it, like flirtation to someone, establishing control and authority to someone, and other reasons why someone do an eye contact to you and you too likewise.
But what is baffling is we could establish communication and send messages through our eyes to someone without uttering or saying any word or making sign language, which is really mysterious. However, some experts to this matter especially the psychologist have something to say about it or have some explanations to cast out the dark clouds and clear our perception about it. According to them it is just a matter or communication and various people interprets differently about it which is really true. However, according to my own assessment, establishing an eye contact to someone is like looking to an object and the mind interprets what the eyes see. Hence, if someone look at you in the eye, you do also look intently or make an eye contact also either out of curiosity (if your mind could not grasp the message of the one’s eye contact to you) or in response to the message one is sending you through eye contact (if your mind understood and grasp the message of one’s eye contact act to you) It is just that simple, however, that is only my opinion.
However, in the other side, there are people who avoid eye contact or avoiding eye contact to anyone except only to their spouses, babies or children or close to them. It is understandable why they don’t want to establish any eye contact to a complete stranger – that is for safety’s sake, because of the many perils lingering around us nowadays. It is difficult to trust your eyes to other’s eyes lest one will hypnotize you through the eye and lost your consciousness to what is currently happening around you. Yes, but I am not saying that making eye contact to stranger is bad but it depends to the intent of the stranger why this stranger is making an eye contact with you. You would not know that this stranger’s eye contact with you is for your betterment, that is if this stranger is looking intently to you because either you have unknowingly drop your bag or you caught some dirt or stain to your bottom garment which you did not notice, thus this stranger is sending you a message about it without saying any words at all to you. You just have to reply and interpret it correctly what this stranger is telling to you through eye contact, else you will miss the stranger’s good eye contact to you. This is just one of the examples of the importance of eye contact which one could benefit of both from your love ones and strangers also. However, if you cannot establish any eye contact to both, your lack of eye contact could spring out from your anxious subconscious mind which you could consult to an expert if you want to establish an eye contact.

Making eye contact is important mostly in business transactions or dealing with your fellow men than being an irritating talkative jerk trying to express something. Eye contact is really important when dealing with your fellow men without saying anything; Eye contact means or says a lot.
Have you ever experience being eye contact by a person you have converse with? , Or vice versa? But is eye contact good or bad for you or to the person you have made eye contact with? The good or bad impression depends upon the interpretation of the person you have made eye contact with. If the person that has made eye contact with you or you have made eye contact with interprets differently from what you intentionally means, well that is his or her problem. Some people sometimes have negative impressions if someone made an eye contact with them; they misinterpret it to be a form of hypnotisms thus some avoids making eye contact oravoiding eye contact.
The importance of eye contact or good eye contact cannot be diminish or dismiss lightly by a person who understands the value or importance of eye contact. Eye contact could mean aggression or dominance to some, but to others it can be sign of fondness of the person to you. However, this depends upon the sexes, that is, it depends upon if you are a man or woman. The eye contact of man is quietly different from women’s eye contact. When a man gives you a shot of eye contact if you are also a man, which means he signals that he is more powerful and strong than you. Thus, sometimes men who understand this kind of contact from their fellow men, they got irritated and offended which then end up in a bullying fight. But this only happens to Alpha males or very straight males, and male chauvinist males. For to some effeminate or not so straight males, this signals that their fellow men have interest on them or sometimes interpreted as “crush” (admiration) to them, wherein some leads to homosexual one night stand. This homosexual interpretation to his fellow men’s eye contact is also similar when a straight man made an eye contact with a woman. And women also do the same thing to men whom they are interested with. But sometimes the male chauvinist males misinterpret this kind of women eye contact; they interpret it as an offense to their maleness.
However, to non-male chauvinist male, the stare of a women makes their self-confidence boost because it signals them that this woman has an interest or attracted to them or in other way they sense that this woman is a strong woman which eventually attracts some men. For some non-male chauvinist are mostly attracted to a strong woman than to a weaker woman.
However, interpretation of eye contact can be varied to many people; people misinterpret sometimes your eye contact with them no matter how good eye contact you made with them, many avoid such eye contacts in fear of something like what I mention above. Thus, by avoiding eye contact many looses their chances or good opportunities in life like in business transactions and applying for a job and meeting good strong people that could help you in your life. Lack of eye contact could really miss some opportunities what I mention a while ago. But to some who knows the importance of eye contact, they gave their best eye contact ever especially in business transactions to signals success.
